About this file

This is a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for the design, purchase, and installation of a commercially dispatcher desk console system for the Hoover Dam Security Response Force (SRF) Building.

The Bureau of Reclamation seeks a vendor to provide a complete two-operator dispatch console solution for Dispatch 2 (Room 120) at Hoover Dam in Boulder City, Nevada. The console must be designed, furnished, delivered, and installed to accommodate two operators with integrated equipment supports, power/data routing, SOP book/binder center credenza, and operator chairs. Design must incorporate layout references provided in the FF&E plans while ensuring the console fits within room dimensions of approximately 24'-1¾" × 14'-6⅞" with ADA/ABA compliant clearances and accessible circulation paths. Key requirements include ergonomic considerations, cable management with concealed routing for power and data connections compatible with sit/stand features, integrated desktop power stations at each operator's work surface, and heavy-duty operator chairs rated 300–550 lbs with ANSI/BIFMA certification. The vendor must provide preliminary console design drawings, 3D renderings, and equipment cut sheets during the bid phase, and final design drawings incorporating Contracting Officer Representative (COR) comments after award. The installation window is early 2027, with access available Monday-Friday from 6am-4pm, and the vendor is responsible for coordination with ongoing construction activities and compliance with federal facility access requirements. Quotations are due by August 11, 2026 at 1700 EDT, with delivery by February 26, 2027. This is not a small business set-aside. The contract incorporates numerous FAR and DIAR clauses including service contract labor standards, buy American provisions, and equal employment opportunity requirements, with applicable wage rates specified in the wage determination for Nevada Clark County.
