9. Any additional accessories attached to the monitors that may affect the weight or mounting requirements.
Answer: Per A1.00 and A1.01 a task light is to be provided no other accessories are assumed at this time.
10. Are you able to provide a color scheme or any guidance on the room so that we can produce something as accurate as possible?
Answer: Yes, we can provide wall color schemes and interior renderings.
11. For 24/7 use, we recommend the IRON HORSE chair and can provide some further literature on this with our bid. This is a true 24/7 chair but the price will vary depending on the weight capacity. We typically lead with the 4000 series in full grain leather but of course can provide a different material or style if preferred. Are you able to help guide us there so we don’t over or under bid on the right chair for your operators? The iron horse also does have a “loaner” program which allows you 30 days to try it out if your users are not familiar with it.
Answer: Requirement is deleted. The Statement of Work is revised to delete this requirement.
12. I just wanted to confirm that the drawing shows two desk options. Would you like us to provide a quote and drawing for both options, or is there one you'd like us to focus on?
Answer: The two desks illustrate acceptable layouts. Vendors should propose an expert-recommended arrangement based on room size, type, and operational needs described. Providing both options and quotes for each is also acceptable.
13. Please verify whether 15 or 20 amp power is desired.
Answer: The dispatch console (Dispatch 2 / Room 120) is served by six (6) dedicated 20A circuits, distributed as follows:
• Two (2) duplex receptacles
• Four (4) quadplex receptacles
These circuits are provided at floor box locations per the Electrical Layout Plan (Sheet A1.02) and are intended to serve the full complement of console-mounted and operator equipment, including:
• Up to 10 CPUs
• 8–10 monitors
• 10–12 radio charging stations
• Desk/task lighting
• Miscellaneous office charging and small appliance loads
Some equipment may be connected directly to the floor receptacles, while other equipment may be routed through the vendor-furnished integrated power strips within the console.
Vendor is responsible for:
1. Ensuring the selected power strip's plug/cord configuration is compatible with the receptacle type installed at each floor box location (duplex vs. quadplex, per Sheet A1.02).
2. Defining, as part of its final design submittal, the maximum recommended device/load allocation per power strip to prevent overload risk over the life of the console.
3. Confirming final power strip and receptacle compatibility with Reclamation prior to fabrication, per SOW Section 2.3.
Reclamation suggests a 20amp connection, vendors shall provide recommendation on final solution appropriate to the loads described above as part of their technical proposal.
14. The product line does come in 3 different depths to best accommodate the equipment being used (no price difference). We are assuming the standard as previously drawn is acceptable but please do let us know if the end user has an equipment list (how many, size of PCs if needed and any undercounter rack rail required?) as this would help guide us.
Answer: The standard depth as shown on the drawings (Sheets A1.00 and A1.01) is acceptable and reflects the minimum design intent for the console configuration in coordination with the planned floor box sizes as defined in applicable keynotes.
Since no cost difference exists between the three available depth options, the bidder shall base its bid pricing on meeting this minimum design intent.
Regarding the equipment list, Reclamation offers the following planning-level quantities for the two-operator console to help guide the bidder's design and depth recommendation:
CPUs: Up to 10 (across both operator positions and center credenza) Monitors: 8–10 total (per Elevation Plan Keynote 03: minimum (1) row of (3) monitors and (1) row of (1) monitor per operator station, monitors to be OFOI) Radio charging stations: 10–12 (OFOI, per Elevation Plan Keynote 10) Desk/task lighting: (1) integrated task light per operator station
CPU size/form factor has not yet been finalized by the end user; specific PC make/model and dimensions will be confirmed during the design phase. Bidders should design undercounter and internal chase space with reasonable flexibility to accommodate small form factor to mid-size desktop CPUs. Large form factor CPUs will not be used.
15. Are you able to provide current room photos, a color scheme, or any guidance on the desired finishes? Our standards for this product can be found by following the link here but we can provide just about any standard laminate finish if you prefer to select one from the manufacturers website or are looking to match.
Answer: The building is currently under construction, the planned finishes for this room are below. Additionally, the exterior renderings and color schemes are provided here for reference. We would prefer a finish to align with the planned color scheme and room finishes.
