About this file

This document contains a question and answer related to a federal contract solicitation for generator service and repair. The solicitation issued by the Department of the Interior Bureau of Reclamation seeks quarterly generator inspections, including three level one preventative maintenance inspections and one level two inspection per year for each generator. A level two inspection includes a level one, so offerors should price their proposals to reflect twelve level one inspections and four level two inspections annually for each generator. Attachment three and paragraph B.5 of the solicitation have been updated to reflect this clarification. The solicitation number is 140R3023Q0040 for an indefinite delivery indefinite quantity contract for new generator service and repairs.

Question 1: If each generator has a quarterly inspection, you will have 3 Level 1(PM1) inspections per year and 1 Level 2(PM2) inspection. A PM2 includes a PM1 so when pricing out on the spreadsheet it should reflect 12 Level 1 Inspections and 4 Level 2 Inspections. Is this correct?

Answer 1: Yes. Attachment 3 and paragraph B.5 of the RFQ are updated.
