About this file
This is a map document from the Bureau of Reclamation depicting the Klamath Project Poe Valley Weed Abatement Treatment Area and Access routes. The map illustrates a 52-acre treatment area with a 40-foot easement on each side of 5.33 miles of river, totaling 52 acres. Access to the treatment area is provided through multiple routes: by All-Terrain Vehicle (ATV) shown in yellow, by truck shown in red, and by river access via both airboat (green) and shore access (blue). The map identifies eight private access points controlled by individual property owners, including the John House, Jim Merrilees, Tom Fuller, Gary Voight, Tom De Jong (two locations), Doug Parker, and Bill Kennedy properties along the South Poe Valley Road corridor. Additional access points include Canal Access to Fuller Property and Canal Access to KBID Pumps. One bridge in the treatment area has been condemned and is noted on the map. The project area is bounded by the black dotted line showing the full project boundary in the Klamath Basin region of Oregon.
