14. DESCRIPTION OF AMENDMENT/MODIFICATION (Organized by UCF section headings, including solicitation/contract subject matter where feasible.)

The purpose of this amendment is to answer the following vendor questions.

Q. I couldn't seem to find any information on where the organic materials go long term.

From my understanding, we would be cleaning out the organic debris from the upper stream side of the dam, then loading into trucks and hauled down the roadway to an "on-site" location. Are we responsible for neatly stockpiling all of the organic debris in the disposal location (size of location)? Also, what happens to the material from there? Does it get hauled away off site, control burned, or mulched up into shavings, and is this something we are to include in our project estimate?

A. There is a gated area about 150 yards by 50 yards with a hard packed ground. No need to neatly stockpile, but dump in 2-3 piles close to the edge. Government forces will take

Q. Are there any aquatic invasive species decontamination requirements for equipment being used on the project?

A. Contractors will need to follow MT FWP boating regulations. No standing water in or on the boat prior to launch, and boat is wiped down when pulling boat from water. The information can be found in the MT FWP regulations for 2021 in the

AIS section.

Q. Is there a boat launch between the face of the dam and the log boom? If not, can the log boom be opened for a short period to allow for passage of a boat?

A. No launching area between the face of dam and log boom. Boats can be put in at Doris boat launch with a $5. 00 fee (which can probably be waived after speaking with the Forest Service or the host at the boat launch.) Contractor's in the past have just lowered a small john boat into the water with their jib crane. There is an area between the two white buoys that can be opened up for access between the log boom and face of dam, vessel can be no wider then 90" for access.
