Questions and Answers

Answer:
The period of performance will start once the contract is awarded. An award is anticipated to be made before the end of the Fiscal Year (September 2024).
Question #11:
Is the $80K that is listed for the price of the current contract for one year or is that for multiple years? $80K for one year? Or is it $80K for 3 or 4 years?
Answer:
The previous contract, 140R1019P0022, was awarded for a total of $80,000.00 for all 5 years.
(This includes a base year with 4 option years).
Question #12:
Do you folks award based solely on the $ value that is proposed, or do you look at the work proposal as well?
Answer:
Refer to the combined synopsis/ solicitation, Addendum to 52.212-1 and 52.212-2, for instructions and evaluation criteria.
Question #13:
How soon after the 25th will the contract be awarded?
Answer:
The anticipated award date is before the end of the Fiscal Year (September 2024).
Question #14:
Clarify when treatments will occur?
Answer:
See attached PWS Amendment 1, dated July 16, 2024; Section C.9. Location and Hours of Work. In addition, treatment will coincide with the phenology of weeds located in the area as well as coordination with IDFG since they are the managing partner.
Question #15:
Clarify treatment of 125 acres.
Answer:
See attached PWS Amendment 1, dated July 16, 2024; Section C.11 Specific Tasks, Task 1(a).
The area covered may be greater than the area actually treated, this allows for surveying as well as treatments to occur simultaneously.
Question #16:
Clarify location of water that will be used for mixing chemicals and use of dye.
Answer:
See attached PWS Amendment 1, dated July 16, 2024; Section C.11 Specific Tasks, Task 1(c).
Question #17:
Clarify treatment application of Wildlife, Plants, and Special Management Areas.
Answer:
See attached PWS Amendment 1, dated July 16, 2024; Section C.11 Specific Tasks, Task 1(g).
Please coordinate with IDFG on these areas.
Question #18:
Clarify submission of Pesticide Application Record (PAR) within 2 working days of treatment.
Answer:
See attached PWS Amendment 1, dated July 16, 2024; Section C.11 Specific Tasks, Task 2(a).
This is to ensure Contractors are filling them out within two days of treatments, so weather and other conditions are not forgotten (provides more accuracy in the reporting).
