About this file

This is a field inspection checklist template for Emergency Potable Water Hauling Services at the South Rim under Contract 140PS126P0049. The checklist is used to verify compliance and quality standards for each water delivery load prior to unloading at designated sites.

The inspection covers ten primary items: verification that the trailer ID matches the approved vehicle list and manifest; confirmation that the driver is on the accepted roster with appropriate Commercial Driver's License (CDL) and tank vehicle endorsement; documentation of chlorine dose added as shown on the manifest; measurement of free chlorine levels (0.7 to 1.5 mg/L); pH testing (7.5 to 8.5); recording of temperature and conductivity (informational only, no pass/fail criteria); turbidity measurement (≤1.0 NTU); visual and odor inspection confirming clear, colorless water with no particles, sheen, or objectionable odor; and verification that the truck is full at the standard 6,000-gallon capacity or documentation of alternative volume. Items 4, 5, 9, and 10 are critical parameters that, if marked "No," require immediate rejection and COR notification. All other deficiencies must be flagged and reported to the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) within two hours during regular business hours, including weekends. The inspector signs and dates the checklist and indicates final approval or rejection with required explanation.
