Answer Question 2: No

Question 3: Where is the closest source of power and water available to the contractor? Will the contractor need to provide temporary sanitation facilities, or can the existing parking lot facilities be used?

Answer Question 3: Parking lot bathrooms are available for use, no temporary facilities needed. Power and water will need to be supplied by the contractor.

Answer Question 4: Full time superintendent is sufficient.

Question 5: Do the existing footings for the handrail posts need to be removed or reused? In the case of replacement, can pre-cast/prefabricated concrete footings (same size as the existing ones) be used to save curing time and maintain project progress?

Answer Question 5: They will need to be removed and poured new. Pre-cast is acceptable.

Question 6: Will any borrow material be required for backfilling, and is compaction testing of the existing grade required?

Answer Question 6: None required.

Question 7: Do the drawings provided by the contractor require a Professional Engineer (PE) stamp and structural design, or are they intended to be shop drawings that simply match the existing size, dimensions, slope, and materials?

Answer Question 7: The drawings do not need to be stamped, they will however, need to show the new design that complies with current ADA code, as the existing ramp does not.
