Text version

1. On the location sheet provided at the walk and in the contract docs it shows 4 locations for the culverts that we are to clean and video. Could you provide where all 4 locations are? Access to some of the locations might be hard to get a vactor truck into.

There are actually approximately 50, please see the project area map that is provided as an attachment to this amendment which was handed out at the site visit. The various culvert locations are annotated on the map as red dots.

2. If locations cannot be shared at this time what about the sizes and depths of the culverts?

Even an average or ball part depth will work, as you can imagine we need to get a camera into the pipes and certain cameras fit into some spots and can only go so far and 9,000 lf is a pretty good distance.

The sizes and depths vary, but 18" diameter pipe is the most common and the average depth is 10'. The 9,000 lf of video stated in the Scope of Work and on the Contract Price Schedule is a lump sum of all the culverts to be video inspected throughout the project, they are not all in one location.

3. Last but not least on the bid schedule its listed as 8,500 lf of video inspection, but in the scope its listed as 9,000 lf of video inspection. Which distance should we use?

9,000 lf. See attached revised Section J, Attachment No. 001, Contract Price Schedule.
