About this file
This document contains notes from a site inspection tour and pre-bid conference for a federal contract to replace roofs on two buildings at Crater Lake National Park. The National Park Service is seeking to award a firm-fixed price contract for the replacement of the roofs on Buildings 1 and 3 located in Crater Lake, Oregon. The contractor will provide all labor, equipment, materials, testing and permits to complete the work according to the specifications in the solicitation attachments. Questions asked at the site visit are recorded regarding shake exposure, wood species, and obtaining access to measure the second story. The site visit was held on July 7th and another visit was scheduled for July 8th to allow measurement with a ladder. The contract is set aside for small businesses with a NAICS code of 238160 and estimated value between $250,000 to $500,000.
