MORA Sludge Pumping National Park Service

Solicitation 140P8324Q0013

Questions and Answers

Following are questions asked and answers given for solicitation 140P8324Q0013 Sludge Pumping

Services for Mount Rainier National Park. Questions where answers were already provided in the solicitation documents or statement of work are not included below.

1. Question: Is there a map of the tank location or mailing addresses for the service locations?

Answer: The locations listed in the SOW are the best description available for the pump sites.

Mount Rainier does not have a map with tank location information that is approved for release. Any publicly available map of Mount Rainier National Park that includes main roadways will give you the best estimate of proposed route distances.

2. Question: Are all tanks risered to grade?

Answer: Not all tanks are risered to grade. The tanks that are not risered are located in the campgrounds and Nisqually entrance listed on page 15 of the SOW. We do not believe that there are serious special circumstances beyond the two listed locations that will require a booster listed on page 15 of the SOW.

3. Question: Are all tanks within 150 feet of the roadway?

Answer: All tanks listed on the SOW are within 150 feet of the roadway with the exception of the special circumstance tanks listed on the bottom of page 15 of the SOW. We only notated the two that were not within 150 feet of the roadway and left the rest implied. My apologies for the confusing verbiage.
