140P8323Q0087 Equine Boarding Attachment 2 Forms to Return with Quote North Cascades National Park
CONTRACT PRICE SCHEDULE
Quoter shall fill in price in all line items. Failure to do so may render the quote ineligible from further consideration. In case of errors in summations, the total of the corrected amounts governs. Quoter shall factor prices quoted to include all supervision, equipment, materials/supplies, pasture, fencing, shelter, food, water, care necessary for completing all work performed in accordance with the Statement of Work and these terms, provisions, and clauses.
The basic requirement of this contract is for vendor to provide adequate pasture, shelter, and water for 8 to 12 equines for 130 to 180 calendar days from date they’re delivered/dropped off (approx. 4 to 6 months) between November to March and/or April each year. The government guarantees that NOCA herd will be at Vendor’s facility for at least 130 calendar days from date the animals are delivered/dropped off.
OPTION: The base year of the contract will start November 2023. Government has the option to award up to an additional 4 years as optional years. Within each year of the contract, the Government, at its option, may extend the boarding period up to an additional 60 calendar days at the same rate per animal per day as awarded. If the boarding period will need to exceed the guaranteed 130 days, then the Contracting Officer will provide written notice to the vendor within 5 days, either before or after the extension. NOCA staff shall notify Contracting Officer as soon as possible once they determine an extension of the 130-day period will be needed.
The actual price paid shall be reflected for the actual number of equines boarded at the firm-fixed price per day quoted and negotiated/accepted. A significant number of issues found during inspections shall constitute a reasonable basis for the Government not exercising an option year.
NOTE: This solicitation is being issued at end of Federal Fiscal Year 2023 and will close in beginning of new Federal Fiscal Year 2024. Government anticipates that the award decision will be made the week of October 30, 2023, and that funds will be made available to proceed with award. NPS will be responsible for hauling equines to awardee’s location, anticipated to be on/about November 7, 2023.
