Project Location: Paradise is located in the southwest corner of the Mount Rainier National Park, the elevation is 5,400 feet. The site is located 10.5 miles from Longmire.
The contractor shall install an asphalt patch in the utility road cut which utility crews created at the upper end of the picnic area, crossing the main road to the base of the lower parking lot stairs. The utility trench cut consists of five contiguous segments of different dimensions: 6’w x52’l, 6’w x122’l, 4’wx49’l, 4’w x28’l and 6’w x41’l. A NPS crew will prep the road cut by providing straight edge cuts and removing three inches of back fill.
