About this file
This document is a collection of fire protection inspection reports for Pearl Harbor National Park facilities conducted by Kinetix Fire between January 29, 2026 and February 3, 2026.
The reports cover fire extinguisher inspections, fire alarm system inspections, and wet pipe sprinkler system inspections across multiple buildings at the Pearl Harbor National Memorial location. Key findings include: 50 fire extinguishers passed inspection at the National Memorial with no deficiencies; fire alarm systems at the Admin Offices Building, Building 612 Maintenance, Building D Classrooms, and Museum Exhibits G & H reveal multiple critical deficiencies including expired backup batteries (sealed lead-acid batteries with expired manufacturer date codes), failed speaker/strobe devices, non-operational transmitter communicators, and malfunctioning elevator recall systems. The Admin Offices system specifically shows 9 failed battery components and 1 failed speaker-strobe in the 1st Floor Elevator Lobby. Building D Classrooms experienced transmitter offline conditions and LED control failures. The wet pipe sprinkler systems for Buildings G, H, and I show generally satisfactory conditions with proper valve operations and pressure readings, though several systems lack complete control valve identification signage, and Building I exhibits painted sprinkler heads, missing escutcheons, and discolored bulbs requiring replacement. The Theater Building I system documented flooded crawl spaces preventing heat detector testing and waterflow switch manual resets. All inspections were reviewed by Joe Schranck and submitted by Ron Reano or Eddie Erlandiz of Kinetix Fire, with contact information at 583 Abbott Drive, Broomall, PA 19008.
