QUESTION and ANSWERS
140P8121Q0025
Q1: Can you please advise what liquid level is being measured ? We presume water with it being Lake
Mead, but could you please clarify i.e. lake-water, potable-water, storm-water, or sewage etc.?
A1: The levels are for lake water (Raw tank), finish treated water tank and water storage tank.
Q2: Can you please better help us understand the purpose of the treatment system these will be used in, i.e. to make potable water, treat for some contaminants, or rest area sewage treatment systems?
A2: The treatment is microfiltration for potable water.
Q3: The specification seems to be requiring the pressure/ level sensors be Intrinsically safe certified for
Hazardous area use. Could you help us to understand the hazardous area /environment these will deployed into as this may effect some of the materials of construction of our products? If just water measurements is this certification required as if not this could reduce the price of model proposed?
A3: The environment is submerged in raw and finished water and needs to approved for NFS drinking water.
Q4: Do you have any technical specs for these, such as data sheets, manual, or the like, which would break down the part numbers?
Echo Bay meter/transmitter combo: Brooks model# 7403D4A1C1AGAA (Or Equal)
Callville Bay meter/transmitter combo: Brooks model# 7403D4A1C1AGAA (Or Equal)
A4: There does not appear to be additional specs on the above, but the below scan was provided in response to the question.
