QUESTIONS:
Question # Question Answer/Response 1.6/27/22 1. May a digitization service provider, with a dedicated Project Management Specialist, place a bid for all services described in the RFQ, including the actual digitization of the materials?
2. Can digitization be performed at an off-site location? If so, are there any distance requirements?
3. Can CHYO provide additional details about the materials to be digitized?
a. A breakdown of material types, ex:
photographs, newspapers, bound volumes, etc.?
b. An inventory list of the materials available with sizing and descriptions?
4. What archival supplies does CHYO anticipate needing for this digitization project? Is rehousing of the materials required for shipment or future storage?
1. Yes, a digitization service provider can bid on this project.
2. No, the digitizing must take place on site.
3. CHYO will not be able to give a breakdown of the material types. We know that there are 41 Linear feet of pictures and documents that need to be scanned as a part of this project.
4. At CHYO we do not anticipate needing any archival supplies since the physical items will stay with the museum. We The items will be kept in the same location in which they are currently being held. The items only need to be cataloged and scanned so they can be used in a digital format.
