About this file

This is a Questions and Answers document for Solicitation 140P6326Q0022 concerning Waste Water Tank Replacement at a park facility. The document addresses four key questions related to construction operations and site management requirements.

The document establishes that construction disturbance is restricted to 20 feet from the roadway edge, with any exceptions requiring approval from both the Contracting Officer and the Park. All personnel, equipment, material staging, and construction activities must remain within approved limits, with unapproved disturbances potentially requiring contractor-funded restoration. Regarding equipment and material storage, contractors must coordinate with the park prior to mobilization and submit a detailed list of storage requirements for park approval to ensure protection of park resources and visitor access. For material and equipment delivery, the unloading location depends on equipment type, and all equipment must arrive clean and free of dirt, vegetation, seeds, mud, and debris. Equipment failing cleanliness standards must be washed and re-inspected before use, and any equipment exhibiting leaks or excessive fluid residue is prohibited from entering the park until corrected and re-inspected. The sign-in sheet from the site visit is available as Attachment 2. The document was signed by Contract Officer Joseph Kirk on June 9, 2026.

Questions and Answers PAIS: Waste Water Tank Replacement

Solicitation 140P6326Q0022 # Question Answer

1. Are there specific limits to areas that can be disturbed by construction operations? If so, where are those limits?

Yes The limits of disturbance are restricted to 20 feet from the edge of the roadway, unless otherwise approved by the Contracting

Officer and the Park. The work limits will be field verified jointly by the Park and the Contractor prior to the start of construction. All personnel, equipment, material staging, and construction activities shall remain within the approved limits of disturbance. Any disturbance outside the approved work area must be coordinated with and approved by the Park prior to proceeding and may require restoration at the Contractor's expense.

2.

Is there a designated laydown area for on-site material/equipment storage?

Yes. The contractor will need to coordinate with the park regarding any equipment and materials that will be stored on-site during the project. Prior to mobilization, please provide a list of equipment, materials, and any anticipated storage requirements so that appropriate locations can be identified and approved. Storage areas will be designated by the park to ensure protection of park resources, visitor access, and ongoing operations. No equipment or materials shall be stored on-site without prior coordination and approval from the park.

3. Is there a designated area for material/equipment delivery

(loading/unloading)?

Yes. The unloading location will depend on the type of equipment being delivered. All equipment will be inspected prior to unloading.

Please ensure that all equipment arrives clean and free of dirt, vegetation, seeds, mud, and other debris. Any equipment that does not meet cleanliness standards will be required to be washed and re-inspected before it can be used within the park. This requirement also applies to oil, grease, hydraulic fluid, fuel, or any other fluid leaks. Equipment must be free of leaks and excessive residue prior to entering the park. Any equipment found to be leaking fluids will not be permitted for use until the issue has been corrected and the equipment has passed inspection.

4. Will the sign-in sheet from the site visit be made available?

Yes, See attachment 2.
