Questions & Answers Replace North Unit Boundary Fence Theodore Roosevelt National Park

Solicitation No. 140P6321B0015 – Amendment 4

The following questions were generated during the solicitation phase. The questions and responses are incorporated into the solicitation and resulting contract.

QUESTIONS & ANSWERS:

Ref Question Response 1 Are all disturbed areas required to be seeded? Is the

ND 13 seed mix to be used?

Yes. All disturbed areas must be seeded. The seed guidelines are attached.

2 In cove where fence is inaccessible with equipment, the existing fence has barbed wire. Is the barbed wire fence in these areas to be replaced with similar barbed wire fence?

Woven wire fence must be used along any areas that have a flat grade. Barbed wire fence will be used in areas where there is a significant and/or abrupt transition of grade elevation. Reference technical drawings sub-sheet G8 for example of barbed wire fence design and transition.
