About this file
This document contains questions and answers from a contractor regarding a federal contract opportunity to rehabilitate quarters 3 at a National Park Service site in the Midwest Region. The contractor inquires about removing and replacing ductwork and sprinkler systems, confirming that ductwork and sprinkler pipe will be reinstalled in the same locations, and whether drywall ceilings need fully removed or can be cut in areas of new installation. The National Park Service responses indicate all ductwork and sprinkler systems should be replaced with new, ductwork and sprinkler pipe will be reinstalled in the original locations, and drywall ceilings can be cut in installation areas and matched to the existing ceiling. Clarification is also provided that details on drawing M102 pertain to wall installations rather than ceilings.
