QUESTIONS AND RESPONSES

DRY TORTUGAS NATIONAL PARK – PROCURE MOORING LINE ASSEMBLIES, VESSEL

MOORING BUOYS, AND ROUND YELLOW REGULATORY BUOYS – 140P5424Q0036

Note: The following questions were received prior to the deadline for questions which was 07/19/2024 at 12:00PM EST as per the solicitation.

1. Project calls for 17 2CFR boundary buoys but Table 2 only shows 16-can you please clarify the quantity of 2CFR buoys?

The total quantity required is 17. The Boundary Buoy Q data was missing from Table 2. Please see the updated Table 2 in the Performance Specification.

2. Please clarify mooring system scope: Do you want 30% of additional rope over the vertical depth of the water?

Correct. The total assembly line length should be 1.3 times the depth. E.g. For depth of 100 feet, the total line assembly will be 130 feet.

3. Can we substitute the US hardware with Dutch Van Beest hardware?

Van Beest Green Pin Hardware is acceptable.
