About this file
This document is a Site Visit Sign-in and Questions and Answers form for solicitation 140P5325Q0029, which involves replacing septic systems at Cape Hatteras National Seashore. The document records a site visit by Doug Tillet from Coastal Septic Company LLC, representing prime contractor VORTEX, and includes two key clarifications from the site visit. The first clarification confirms that the park wants septic pipe, not septic chambers, and the second confirms that new sod (approximately 500 sqft) will be required in disturbed areas after work completion.
The document emphasizes that the project site is sensitive and requires 48-hour advance approval for site visits, and is not open to the public. These procedural details align with the broader solicitation requirements for this small business set-aside construction project involving replacement of septic systems at four housing units and the Double Keepers Quarters in Buxton, NC, with a period of performance from August 1, 2025 to December 1, 2025.
