About this file
This document is a Statement of Work (SOW) for the purchase and delivery of 80 trees and shrubs for the Fort Donelson National Cemetery in Dover, Tennessee. The National Park Service requires the delivery of the trees and shrubs over a 3-week period, with no more than 30 delivered per week. The NPS is allowing the contractor to determine the mix of tree and shrub species from the listed quantities, which include Chinese hemlock, red cedar, eastern redbud, sugar maple, Osage orange, American beech, and dwarf Alberta spruce. The trees must meet specific caliper size requirements, and the shrubs must be 5 gallons in size. The contractor must provide a description of the nursery stock and its location, as well as a bid broken down by tree and shrub type, labor and material costs, and delivery costs. The trees are guaranteed for 1 year, and the NPS will inspect the trees before the delivery truck leaves. The contract will be awarded as a firm fixed-price contract, and the contractor must provide references for relevant experience.
