About this file

This document is an amendment to a solicitation for a CACO Mobile Lifts requirement (Solicitation Number 140P4324Q0069). The amendment addresses a question from a potential bidder regarding whether an alternative non-hydraulic mobile column lift system with a precision ball screw lifting mechanism and 18,000 lbs per post capacity would be accepted. The Government response indicates that the specifications require a hydraulic system with a 20,000 lbs lift capacity, and the proposed alternative does not meet the stated requirements. No other details about the overall solicitation are provided.

Amendment 0001

RFIs 1

1. Regarding this bid, would you accept a bid and/or approve an equivalent Mobile Column Lift system that is non-hydraulic and instead uses a precision ball screw lifting mechanism at 18000 lbs per post with an adjustable carriage? In addition, would you accept 18000 lbs capacity jack stands? I can send you supporting documentation if you like.
