Solicitation P4224Q0010 Gettysburg NMP and Eisenhower NHS Question and Answers
1) Question: Can you help me understand whether or not those 2 ADA compliant toilets are required in November?
Answer: There are four ADA compliant toilets are required in November. Two for the Hunt Avenue parking lot and 2 for the National Cemetery overflow parking lot.
From Paragraph 2 (o) of the SOW:
i. Two ADA units at the Taneytown Road overflow parking lot, Remembrance Day and Dedication Day weekend.*
1. * Dedication Day is 19 November every year. Remembrance Day is the Saturday closest to Dedication Day and is not a fixed date and can be either before or after Dedication Day.
2. The two ADA units Ashall remain in place at the Hunt Avenue and Taneytown Road parking lot through 30 November to support these two Special Event days.
3. The two ADA units designated for the Taneytown Road / National Cemetery overflow parking lot shall be moved to that location on 1 November each year.
2) Question: Also, what size of ADA compliant toilets do you require? My estimator tells me there are a few different types and sizes?
Answer: There are no specific requirements for the size of the ADA compliant units as long as they meet the industry and ADA compliant standards.
3.) Question: There is no line on the price schedule for hand wash stations. How would you like that entered on the price schedule?
Answer: The hand wash stations can be added as a separate line item on the price schedule to make it clear what the cost of each hand wash station costs and a total cost of all of the requested hand wash stations.
4.) Question: The SOW states that you want 4 handicap toilets for the WW2 event, are you referring to ADA? In the pricing sheet it doesn’t mention handicap, only ADA. Please clarify?
Answer: Yes. I used the terms "handicap" and ADA interchangeably. They are the same thing.
5.) Question: Do you want the handwashing stations built in the toilet or separately?
Answer: Separately
