About this file

This is Amendment 0001 to solicitation 140P2125Q0044 for ASL interpretation services issued by the National Park Service's WASO-WCP Contracting office in Denver, CO. The amendment answers questions and revises the scope of work, reducing the requirement from two students to one student needing ASL interpretation services.

The services are needed at the Albright Center in Grand Canyon Village, AZ from February 26-March 4, 2025, totaling 70 hours across 7 days. The daily schedule varies, with some days running from 0700-1700 and others including evening sessions until 2100. The work includes classroom interpretation for lectures, discussions, and small group activities, plus two field experiences requiring travel to park locations. The previous contract (140P2124P0099) was awarded to TAM Services for $15,400.38 with two interpreters. Pricing can be submitted on Form 1449 or company letterhead. The period of performance is February 26, 2025 to March 4, 2025.

Is there a recommended price template?

How many hours are required?

Is there an incumbent? What is the incumbent price?

Answer:

Based on the information provided, we only require interpreters for one student now. We estimated the need for four interpreters when there were two students. The previous contract that was awarded (140P2124P0099) to TAM Services for $15,400.38, ultimately had two interpreters.

For the breakout session - the student will only be attending one and that is on Friday afternoon.

Additionally, there will be two field experiences

(Thursday morning and Monday morning). This will require the interpreter(s) to travel to the assigned park location (outdoors) with the student. They can be in our transportation (SUVs) or utilize their own if they prefer. The other activities in the classroom consist of large group lecture and discussion as well as small group activities.

These are the days and hours that service is needed.

Wednesday, 2/26: 0700-1700 and then from 1800 -

Thursday, 2/27: 0730 - 1700

Friday, 2/28: 0730 - 1700

Saturday, 3/1: 0800 - 1600

Sunday, 3/2: 0800 - 1600

Monday, 3/3: 0730 - 1700 and then from 1800 - 2100

Tuesday, 3/4: 0730 - 1700

Total Hours: 70

Pricing can be placed on the 1449 or company letterhead per the solicitation.

Period of Performance: 02/26/2025 to 03/04/2025
