C.1 Statement of Work Statement of Work
ASL Support Services – NPS Fundamentals Course Albright Training Center, Learning & Development, January 2, 2025
PURPOSE:
Albright Training Center requires the services of American Sign Language translator(s) to meet the needs of one student registered to participate in the on-site Fundamentals class taking place during February 2025. Services are required for daily classroom activities, field trip events, and evening events. The Fundamentals course in NPS’ onboarding introduction to NPS culture and organization that new employees are encouraged to attend. NPS is required to meet reasonable accommodation needs for participants. ASL interpreters are needed throughout the weeks activities to support the students full participation. Approx dates are 2/26/2025 – 3/4/2025. Multiple interpreters are required due to the requirement to have support during classroom, fieldtrips, and evening events.
Tasks:
American Sign Language interpreters will be provided for all activities of the Fundamentals session 2/26/2025-03/04/2025. Activities include field trips, pre-classroom and post-classroom activities in addition to traditional in classroom events. The events will occur at Albright Training center and in the surrounding Grand Canyon National Park and other potential proximal locations. During some events the large class will be broken into smaller groups. The ASL interpreter(s) will be required to attend the group where services are required. Number of ASL interpreters will be determined by requirement to allow for breaks for interpreters while providing continuous service for the duration of the course and related activities.
Travel:
Travel and lodging is required to be in attendance at the Albright Training Center for the duration of the course. Travel expenses will be reimbursed in accordance with the Federal Travel Regulation (FTR) current at the time the travel takes place, in accordance with any Federal Travel Guidance.
Personnel:
The contractor shall provide fully trained, certified and experienced personnel required for the performance of ASL services.
