Sheet1
| Interpretive Content Report: ALPO & JOFL | ||
| 1 | Is this a new type of report or are there existing comparable reports for sense of level of effort? | The products resemble the “resource abstract” commonly required in the Schematic Design phase of any NPS exhibit project. The difference is that the scope covers the entire park, and not just a singular exhibit. Note the limitations on page counts and number of primary sources to research for boundaries on the level of effort. Historic furnishing reports are also similar, but they require more rigorous analysis and narrative than the reports required under this contract. Section 1.1 of the solicitation summarizes the volume of work. |
| 2 | Will ALPO and JOFL each get a separate document under this procurement? | Yes, each NPS unit requires its own report; however, the total effort is based on the total number of fundamental resources and not the number of reports. SME narratives are per SME and specific to their areas of expertise, not a specific NPS unit. Because the two NPS units share some common history, SMEs may address both or just one. |
| 3 | Can you provide more information about the specific qualifications for the SME roles? Do the individuals need to be an expert on the Johnstown Flood/ Alleghany Portage or can they be experts on topics related to the sites, such as natural disasters or transportation? | Note the evaluation criteria: “The proposed SMEs shall be evaluated for their knowledge and connections to park resources. Proposals with more contemporary SME knowledge on park resources, especially SMEs from traditionally associated peoples, may receive a higher rating.” If the offeror can demonstrate how expertise on more general topics results in better perspective on specific park resources and relevance, then that offer may receive a higher rating. |
| 4 | For 5.1.6, is compensation for the interviews with traditionally associated peoples set by the contractor or by NPS? | The Government can not prescribe the amount of compensation, but does expect an interview and time with a professional/expert to have an associated cost. |
| 5 | In 52.212-2 Addendum, Volume III – Past Performance makes reference to “Past Performance Questionnaires.” Should we plan on having past clients fill these out for this Solicitation? If so, please upload the document to SAM. | If Past Performance Questionnaires are utilized, the government will send them out to the POC's identified from your proposal |
| 6 | Will there be any specific pricing spreadsheet to provide other than 9. Payment Schedule? | Section 9 ammended to include CLIN structure. |
