About this file
This document is a Survey Request from the National Park Service (NPS) seeking feedback from potential contractors and subcontractors for a multi-year construction project at Grand Canyon National Park. The survey focuses on several key project components: Housing (South Rim Waste Water Treatment Facility), North Rim Utilities, and SCADA Integration, with a survey response deadline of August 11, 2025. The survey seeks contractor input on critical project aspects including RV site utilization, expected staffing levels, borehole construction scheduling, contracting approach preferences, construction schedule considerations, and potential coordination with a government-furnished Process Control System Integrator (PCSI).
The project involves developing 12 RV sites on the South Rim, implementing utility infrastructure on the North Rim, and integrating complex SCADA systems, with an anticipated four-year construction timeline that includes winter work periods. Contractors are invited to provide detailed feedback on technical specifications, project scheduling, and logistical challenges. The NPS is planning a follow-up industry day site visit during the week of August 25th and is collecting comprehensive input to refine project requirements before formal solicitation. Responses will be treated as confidential and used exclusively by the NPS and Design Team.
