About this file
This document contains questions and responses related to amendment 0005 of solicitation 140P2021R0073 for the visitor center rehabilitation at Fort Donelson in Dover, Tennessee. The National Park Service is seeking a lump sum contract to complete both base bid items 1 and 2. Optional additions may also be awarded at the time of contract award or through future modifications. Key personnel roles like superintendent and quality control manager cannot be filled by the same individual. A job trailer is required rather than using interior building space. No previously approved submittals will be provided to expedite the schedule. The contractor will be responsible for defects from prior work. Discovery of archaeological artifacts could impact schedule completion according to specification 01 35 13.22. If funded, contract award is targeted before September 24, 2021. The authority having jurisdiction is the NPS Regional Structural Fire Manager rather than the State Fire Marshal's office.
