Questions and Government Responses listed below:
Question # Question Answer/Response
1 Dry goods Packing containers: Will the park be supplying the necessary drygoods packing containers? These are normally aluminum boxes and 20 mil ammo cans.
Sometimes these are specific to the crafts going down stream. These are also used as receptacles for trash once empty. If they used our boxes, it would add the logistics of getting the boxes returned or Picked up by the contractor.
The park will provide dry good packing containers. Depending on the type of mission and watercraft, the containers will range from 20-mil ammo cans, 3-gallon plastic tubs, and aluminum boxes.
2 Trash: will the NPS deal of disposing all trash post river mission?
The park will dispose of post-river mission trash, as we will be supplying the dry good containers.
3 To clarify- the only difference between a FULL & PARTIAL food pack is that a PARTIAL pack does Not include canned beverages or snacks.
Yes.
4 Canned beverages – is there a quantity per person per day expected when requested?
4 canned beverages per day per person.
5 We assume that any food pack would include coffee, tea bags, hot cocoa, Gatorade and lemonade powders. Please confirm
Yes, please see question #7 for further clarification.
6 These food services are specifically for trips that the GRCA is self outfitting with their own boats, gear, crew?
Yes.
7 Do associated sundries include all non-edible kitchen & camp needs such as the following: paper towels, dish soaps, dish washing supplies, dish towels, hand soaps, hand sanitizers, butane lighters, pot holders, toilet paper, toilet cleaning supplies?
Associated sundries do not include the non-edibles as the bid is for a food pack. Associated sundries should be food-related sundries such as, but not limited to, cooking oil, coffee, teabags, hot cocoa, Gatorade, lemonade powers, and hot sauce.
