Question
Answer/Response
1.
Does Customer know what type of coupler is being used on the machine (CASE 580SN), and if it will work with the AMI Jawbone bucket and 1000lbs hydraulic hammer, or will another have to be supplied?

The customer is waiting on delivery of the Case 580SN backhoe so does not yet have the machine on hand to confirm the couple type. However the purchase order the customer received for the 580 has the couple speced out as a “standard coupler with a hydraulic pin release” It is the customers understanding that the standard couple should work with both attachments but the contractor placing the bid should verify this independently to ensure compatibility

2.
Is the customer aware that the model # supplied may not fit the machine (CASE 580SN) and a different model may have to be supplied?

The customers was provided this model # as part of a consultation when researching the attachments. If the specific model number provided is not compatible with a Case 580SN the contractor suppling the bid for this contract is welcome to submit the specific JawBone model that is compatible with a Case 580SN
