Question # Question Answer/Response
1. Is this a solicitation that originated independent of any previous solicitation, or did it arise from an existing contract?
If yes, then who is the referenced incumbent and what is their contract number, price and term of work?

2. If there is a current contractor, will there be a phase out plan? There is no phase out plan associated currently
3. Is it permissible to complete the PW’s with either MD, DO, NP. The reason for the inclusion of NP is due to the full practice authority for the NP role in the state of Arizona.
For the PWs, this only to be completed by MD due to the emergency medicine nature of the work.
4. Is there any contractor currently performing this service?
- If yes, would you kindly provide us with the Contract number?

- "Recognized Holidays: The Contractor is required to provide medical control services 24-hours a day 7-days a week throughout the calendar year."
- Is the Government expecting the Contractor to provide services for a total of 8,736 hours per year? If not, could you please give us an estimate of how many hours the Government is expecting the contractor to perform either per week or per year.

The actual time commitment is more like 800 hours per year (estimate).
