About this file

This document is a set of scope sheets that provide detailed requirements for the restoration of historic masonry chimneys at buildings in the West Glacier Headquarters area of Glacier National Park. The key objectives include repairing and restoring the historic masonry, maintaining the original architectural character, and addressing any structural or safety issues.

The scope covers specific tasks such as repointing and resetting masonry, cleaning and patching chimneys, addressing any hazardous materials, and coordinating with park staff. Pricing is required for the base bid as well as optional add-on work. Responses are due on June 6, 2024, with a contract award expected shortly after. This is a federal solicitation issued by the Department of the Interior National Park Service Intermountain Region, and small businesses may be eligible for set-aside consideration.
