About this file
This document contains questions and answers related to Federal Contract Opportunity Solicitation Number 140P1323Q0074 for security surveys of museum collections at four National Park Service locations. The answers indicate that more detailed information will be provided to the contractor awarded the contract, including any past security incidents, conditions of the GSA lease for one property, and the results of a 2019 security survey. Budget and travel reimbursement are left to the contractor to determine. Labor categories must satisfy the requirement and be included in the wage determination or requested from the Department of Labor.
The opportunity is for the Department of the Interior National Park Service Intermountain Region to conduct security surveys of museum collections at multiple park locations. Requests for more specific information on prior security issues, property leases, survey results and budgets will only be provided to the contractor awarded the contract. Labor categories and costs are to be determined by the bidding contractor.

Is travel to the park locations reimbursed?[Claire Roberson] That is up to the contractor to determine in their proposal if they require travel to complete the SOW.
Which labor categories in the wage determination apply?[Claire Roberson] The contractor should determine which categories will satisfy the SOW requirement and if they are not in the WD then a request to the DOL will need to be made to add the category.
