About this file
This is a Questions and Answers document addressing contractor requirements for the Threatt Filling Station National Historic Landmark (NHL) nomination project under solicitation 140P1226Q0033 issued by the Department of the Interior National Park Service Intermountain Region.
The document clarifies that the property subject to the NHL nomination is currently owned by the Threatt Land Trust, which is actively supporting the nomination efforts. The Q&A confirms that contractors are expected to consult with the National Park Service to reaffirm the NHL boundary designation and obtain landowner approval as part of the nomination process. The document indicates that reaffirming landowner approval is a standard procedural requirement for all historic designations and that the Threatt Land Trust's existing support demonstrates preliminary alignment with the nomination objectives. The Q&A provides limited additional detail beyond this clarification, serving primarily to address a specific inquiry regarding the extent of contractor involvement in the landowner approval process and property ownership structure.
