Solicitation 140L6423Q0023
Amendment 0002
The purpose of this amendment is to respond to questions received. All due dates, terms, and conditions remain the same.
Questions and Answers:
1. I have a question on the angle post brace listed on the solicitation, is oilfield pipe acceptable for this bid? Or do you have more detailed information regarding what this bid is calling for exactly regarding angle post?
Oilfield pipe is not an acceptable material. Angle posts and angle braces should be made of non-cylindrical angled steel. The angle post should be 2 ½” x 2 ½” x 7’, with a ½” bolt hole extending 16 ½” from the bottom on the left angle, and a ½” bolt hole extending 13 ½” from the bottom on the right angle. The angle brace should be 2” x 2" x 7’, with a ½” bolt hole extending ½” from the bottom on the left angle, and a ½” bolt hole extending 1” from the bottom on the right angle. Please see the attached pictures and drawings (pages 2-4) for further clarification.
