Questions and Answers

1. Question: Is there any past performance or similar contract to this subject ? if so what's the id number so I can look it up on sam.gov?

Answer: The last two years of this requirement were awarded until purchase orders

140L6323P0013 and 140L6322P0008, respectively.

2. Question: Do we need any special permit or certificate to qualify for this bid?

Answer: BLM has no specific permits or certificates for the fuel delivery, however the vendor must meet all State and Federal requirements for transport/delivery of fuel.

3. Question: Are ground delivery ok? Like semi trucks ? Or is it strictly airplane?

Answer: There is no road access to either Inigok or Umiat, so aircraft is the only way to have fuel delivered in the summer.

4. Question: Do both Inigok and Umiat have a landing airport? And how many gallons can their fuel tank hold full capacity?

Answer: Inigok has a 5000-foot unmaintained gravel runway. The Jet-A fuel tank at Inigok is a 5,500-gallon above ground tank that can hold a maximum of 5,000 gallons of fuel (10% empty space for fuel expansion).

Umiat has a 5500-foot unmaintained gravel runway. The Jet-A fuel tank at Umiat is a 3,000-gallon above ground tank that can hold a maximum of 2,700 gallons (10% empty space for fuel expansion).
