About this file

This document is a Questions and Answers (Q&A) file for Solicitation #140L4025Q0023, covering vault and septic pumping services for Santa Cruz Lake and Diablo Canyon. The Q&A reveals key operational details, including water availability (yard hydrants only at Northshore, water must be hauled to other sites), waste disposal options (multiple dump sites in Santa Fe and Rio Arriba Counties), and trash removal procedures (using scooping tools or trash grabbers). The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) indicates a final contract decision is expected by June 30, 2025. Contractors should note that water and waste management will require additional logistical planning, particularly for the Overlook Campground and Diablo Canyon locations where water is not readily available on-site.
