About this file

This document is an Amendment 02 for the Rhyolite Water Tank Cleaning federal contract opportunity, providing clarifying details about the project site and work conditions. The amendment addresses five key questions from potential contractors, including the lack of tank photos due to the tank being buried under 3 feet of soil, absence of recent water quality analysis, and no potable water source in the immediate area. Work logistics are specified, with contractors permitted to camp on-site if the area is maintained, alternative accommodation options in Beatty, NV noted (RV campgrounds and hotels approximately 6 miles away), and work hours defined as 7:00 am to 7:00 pm during daylight hours. The document also stipulates that all inspections must be scheduled in advance with the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR).
