Description of Changes - This amendment incorporates the following information:
1. For informational purposes only, the Government is providing the Site Visit Attendance Records from the organized site visit that the Government held on June 3, 2025, at 9:00 am Mountain Time.
2. The Government is providing the Questions received from interested offerors and the associated Answers provided by the Government.
Acknowledgement - See Block 11 above regarding how to acknowledge this amendment. The Government must receive the acknowledgement at the place designated for receipt of offers (See Block 8 of the Standard Form 1442).
Third Party – If you have given a copy of the solicitation to someone else, please forward this amendment accordingly.
SITE INSPECTION TOUR / PREBID CONFERENCE RECORD
The Government strongly urges offerors to inspect the site to gain a better understanding of the work requirements and to satisfy themselves regarding all general and local conditions that may affect the cost of performance. In no event shall failure to inspect the site constitute grounds for a claim after award.
Questions and Answers Offerors shall submit questions by 5 June 2025, at 1:00 pm, Mountain Time. Questions submitted after this date and time may not be answered. Offerors for this RFQ, including subcontractors and teammates, shall consolidate questions related to this solicitation in a Request for Information (RFI) formatted Word document. Any RFI is to be emailed as an editable attachment to Jorge Alvarez (jalvarez@blm.gov) with the subject line: RFI – 140L3625Q0053 Mavencamp Solar Well. Only written RFI’s will be considered and responded to. BLM responses to the RFI will be posted as an amendment to the solicitation on https://sam.gov.
Solicitation Number: 140L3625Q0053 Project Title: DEAN S. RECREATION SITE
Question #1: What is the required duration of the well test?
Answer #1: Per the Specifications, the sustainable yield of the existing well will be determined by an 8-hour test.
Question #2: What is the size of the existing underground waterlines to be tied into?
Answer #2: The visible portion of the waterline at each end of the buried waterline is 1” diameter I.D. HDPE pipe. The actual size and location of the buried waterline to be connected to at the well shall be verified in the field by the Contractor.
Question #3: What are the directions, distances, and elevations of the stock tanks in relation to the water well?
Answer #3: There are three existing stock tanks that will be supplied by the water well.
- Well location: latitude/longitude 48.9015, -107.490917; elevation 2728 feet
- Stock tank #1 location: north approximately 2435 pipe feet from the well at latitude/longitude 48.908111, -107.494917; elevation 2717 feet
- Stock tank #2 location: south approximately 2092 pipe feet from the well at latitude/longitude 48.896667, -107.487583; elevation 2733 feet
- Stock tank #3 location: south approximately 5000 pipe feet from the well at latitude/longitude 48.890427, -107.489528; elevation 2738 feet
- Stock tanks and underground waterlines from well to stock tanks have been previously installed.
Question #4: When are bids due?
Answer #4: Per the Solicitation document for this contract, quotes are due by 1300 local time on Monday, June 16, 2025. Quotes shall be sent to Contracting Officer Jorge Alvarez at jalvarez@blm.gov.
