About this file

This is a Pre-Bid Site Visit Questions and Answers document from a Bureau of Land Management (BLM) pre-bid site tour conducted on August 26, 2026, for the Goodenough Vault Toilet Replacement project (Solicitation Number: 140L2626Q0054). Three companies attended the site visit: Summit Property Service, Capex Construction, and M & M Industries LLC.

The project requires contractors to remove the existing vault toilet structure, including the concrete building, concrete slab, and concrete vault, and replace it with a new CXT Cascadian (Right Hand) vault toilet or approved equal that meets all specified design and performance requirements. The BLM will handle vault pumping prior to removal, but contractors are responsible for coordinating the removal schedule with the BLM. Contractors will have full access to the surrounding ground for work, though barrier reinstallation may be required on the backside of the vault. A demolition plan must be submitted for government approval before work begins per Specification Section 024116. The project timeline is flexible within a 180-day period of performance, with contractors responsible for scheduling around potential weather interruptions and winter conditions. No specific response date, award date, or pricing information is provided in this document.
