Questions and Answers
1. Is this a firm fixed price contract?
Yes.
2. Will Government deliver chassis to contractor’s facility?
Yes.
3. How much fuel will the chassis be delivered with?
Government chassis will be delivered with at least ¼ tank of fuel.
4. What location, or which locations, will the upfitting services be rendered at?
Performance is expected to occur at the contractor’s facility.
5. Do any chassis have OEM switch panels?
All class 653 chassis have OEM switch panels. All other classes do not have OEM switch panels.
6. What is the timeline for production?
Quoters are required to provide a delivery schedule as part of the technical quote. The timeline for production will be based on the quoted delivery schedule.
BLM can provide all chassis immediately following award. All vehicles have been received from the manufacturer.
7. What year, make and model are the vehicles to be upfitted?
See revised price schedule for make and model of each vehicle.
8. Where should the price for additional items in section 13 be quoted?
See revised price schedule for base price line item to include the price of additional items.
9. Does pricing need to be provided for all vehicles in the price schedule?
Yes. The price schedule needs to be completely filled out.
