Utah Wells 2021 Plugging & Abandonment

ATTACHMENT 5--QUESTIONS & ANSWERS

Five questions regarding the subject RFP were received. Responses to all questions received by 8/27/2021 are included in this Amendment 01 to the RFP.

Q1: Can we have simultaneous Projects going (fixing roads, rig work on a different location) at the same time?

RESPONSE: Yes.

Q2: How much time do we have to get the roads done to get to the locations done that had somewhat of a time line?

RESPONSE: Provided all wells (base and any options) are plugged within the 280 days following the NTP, the duration at each well is at the contractor’s discretion.

Q3: Is there a time line to start this project?

RESPONSE: NTP is anticipated no later than 9/28/2021 to facilitate pre-work submittals as described in revised Attachment 1, section X.

Q4. Is there technical assistance available for the solicitation process?

RESPONSE: The Procurement Technical Assistance Centers (https://www.aptac-us.org/) are staffed with counselors experienced in government contracting and provide a wide range of services including classes and seminars, individual counseling and easy access to bid opportunities, contract specifications, procurement histories, and other information necessary to successfully compete for government contracts.

Q5. Will the attendance roster and notes from the site visit be made available?

RESPONSE: Yes. See Attachment 6 – Site Visit Notes incorporated with this RFP Amendment 01 and corresponding changes to Attachment 1 –Amendment 1 Statement of Work.
