Text version

1. In order to quote Project Element 2: Topographic Surveys of the Channel and Floodplain, I need to know if this is a continuation of the surveying done in the past, namely - does this require surveying the 68 previously established cross sections in the Castolon, Solis, and Gravel Pit to Hot Springs Canyon reaches.

If additional creek mouth surveys, etc are required then I need specific locations and geographic extents of these surveys in order to generate a proper quote.

The surveys would be the 68 previously established cross sections in the Castolon, Solis, and Gravel Pit to Hot Springs reaches.

2. Please clarify if the following price structure is appropriate, and expected, for each Project Element:

Project Element 1 - Sediment Sampling and Sediment Gage Maintenance:

Up to 24 trips: 12 trips to the Castolon/Terlingua Creek sites, and 12 trips to the Rio Grande Village and Tornillo Creek sites, for a total of 24 trips.

Firm, Fixed Price per trip = $_______ or Not To Exceed value for full scope of work, i.e:

Year 1 NTE: $ Year 2 NTE: $_______, etc.

A firm, fixed price per trip is preferred. Then, as additional task orders are created, the total amount of money for the contractor can be easily adjusted based on the firm/fixed prices.

Project Element 2 - Topographic Surveys of the Channel and Floodplain:

Firm, Fixed Price per survey =$______ or Not To Exceed value for full scope of work, i.e:

Year 1 NTE: $ Year 2 NTE: $_______, etc.

A firm, fixed price per trip is preferred. Then, as additional task orders are created, the total amount of money for the contractor can be easily adjusted based on the firm/fixed prices.
