140G0124Q0148 Document Title Vendor Questions

VENDOR QUESTIONS & ANSWERS

1. When was the system installed?

2019. All of the equipment is original to the installation except for one fiber converter box, the mother board on the monitoring station computer both of which were replaced in 2022. The mother board did not actually need to be replaced. It was replaced as part of a troubleshooting process. The fiber converter box was the item that actually failed and it was replaced a week after they worked on the monitoring station computer. Additionally, the power supply back up battery was replaced in Oct 2023 as part of routine maintenance.

2. How do we get on top of the SCIF and how much room is there?

A ladder will be needed for accessing the SCIF thru the false ceiling. There is enough room to stand but there are obstacles that may require ducking or stepping over.

3. Who pays to replace any equipment that fails?

The Statement of Work requires the contract company to pay for any currently installed equipment that fails or needs to be replaced and to price their bid accordingly. If new equipment needed to be installed at a later date, a contract modification may be done to pay for new materials.

4. Is there an expectation to replace any equipment that is outdated?

All equipment that is operational would stay installed until if fails. At that time, upgraded equipment would be installed.

5. If the laptop/monitoring station computers cannot handle the software update and must be replaced, who buys the computer(s)?

If an upgrade makes the computer obsolete, the contract company is expected to purchase new computers to handle the updated software and to price their bid accordingly.

6. What is the dongle ID of the existing Lenel system?

Dongle ID 136189

7. Is there a requirement to provide a UL2050 certificate or just to maintain the system to ICD705 standards?

The Statement of Work calls for UL2050 certification. The facility was constructed using ICD 705 standards. Lenel certification is needed to maintain the system. Now that the system is built and running, the facility needs to be maintained to ICD 705 standards and Lenel certification.

8. When was the last time the system was inspected and are there any reports available on this inspection?

Last inspection date was 07/17/2023 with no issues found. Report is available upon request.
