Server Room A/C Replacement

Furnish and install new two 2-ton ductless split Computer Room A/C systems.

The systems' condensing units will be installed on the roof of the building on 2 support stands. The systems' evaporator blower units will be installed on the wall of the room. Electrical circuits with outdoor disconnects and separate connections between indoor and outdoor units will be provided by the owner's electrical contractor. Each unit will be controlled by one wall mounted digital thermostat.

One condensate pump will be installed on each unit and will expel all condensate to the nearest domestic drain. Each system will include one Low Ambient control on the system for year-round operation. All roof penetrations will be put into pitch boxes and sealed. The units will be started and tested for proper operation

Urgent need for a new server room ac as our current unit is not currently working unless filled with freon on a regular basis.

The contractor is responsible for getting the new AC units in place on the roof. The USGS does not have the equipment necessary to get the AC unit up there.
