Statement of Work - 0001 Utah Ecological Services Field Office

Relocation U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service

1. Background: The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service’s Utah Ecological Services Field Office is preparing to relocate its operations due to the expiration of the current GSA lease at 2369 W. Orton

Circle, West Valley City, UT 84119. The lease expires on October 14, 2025, and all office assets shall be removed from the current location by October 10, 2025.

Offerors are encouraged to conduct a site visit prior to submitting quote. Contact Rita Reisor at 385-491-7505 to schedule a site visit. SITE VISIT IS ONLY AT ORIGIN LOCATION

2. Objective: To procure a professional, full-service moving company capable of coordinating and executing the relocation of office furniture, equipment, supplies, and files to the new facility located at: 440 W 200 S, Suite 500, Salt Lake City, UT 84101. The move shall be completed by October 10, 2025, to allow time for any necessary final walkthroughs, space cleanup, or issue resolution prior to the lease expiration.

• Usable office space including lab and garage = 6,650 sq ft.

• 18 rooms are furnished plus the open cubicle space (11 cubes). There is an additional garage space as well.

• Primary contact information for move coordination will be provided upon contract award.

Timeline

i. Period of Performance: September 1, 2025 – October 10, 2025

ii. Move Completion Deadline: October 10, 2025

iii. Contractor shall work closely with the agency to finalize move dates and accommodate any specific building access or scheduling requirements.

Locations

i. Origin: 2369 W. Orton Circle, West Valley City, UT 84119 (single-story office, ground-level access)

ii. Destination: 440 W 200 S, Suite 500, Salt Lake City, UT 84101 (5th floor of a commercial building within Downtown Gateway South Building)

3. Scope of Service: The selected contractor shall provide all labor, materials, tools, equipment, supervision, and project coordination necessary to complete the move. Required services include, but are not limited to:

a. Pre-Move Planning and Coordination

i. Conduct a site walkthrough of both the origin and destination locations.

ii. Develop a comprehensive move plan and schedule in coordination with agency points of contact.

iii. Provide an inventory assessment and labeling system for all items to be relocated.

b. Labor and Supervision

i. Provide all necessary personnel, including:

1. Trained, uniformed movers

2. On-site project supervisor

3. Personnel shall be background-checked

ii. Ensure proper staffing to complete the move efficiently and on schedule.

c. Packing, Disassembly, and Protection

i. Disassemble and prepare furniture and equipment as needed.

ii. Safely pack sensitive or delicate items such as electronics and file storage.

iii. The originating office will pack most items into boxes or totes provided by the moving company two weeks prior to the move. Packing blankets and other necessary materials shall be provided by awardee.

iv. Provide all packing materials and moving equipment.

v. Protect walls, floors, elevators, and other building features as required at both sites.

vi. Label and track all items to ensure accurate placement at the new location.

ci. Transportation and Delivery

i. Load, transport, and unload all designated items to the new location.

ii. Ensure safe and secure transport using appropriate vehicles and equipment.

iii. Place all items according to the move plan and office layout at the new site.

cii. Post-Move Services

i. Remove all items designated for disposal and/or donation in accordance with applicable regulations.

ii. Remove all packing materials, tools, and equipment from both sites.

iii. Confirm completion of move with on-site supervisor and agency contact.

iv. Address and resolve any post-move issues or damage claims.

v. Perform a basic cleaning of the vacated office space to ensure it is left in broom-clean condition. This includes removing any tape, labels, supplies, random items or residue left behind from the move.

ciii. ITEMS TO BE MOVED AND DISPOSED OF:

i. Thirteen (13) offices: 1 desk chair, 2 guest chairs, 1 stand-up desk, 1 bookshelf, 1 wall white board shall be moved to destination office

1. One (1) built in desk and bookcase and small file cabinets shall be disposed.

ii. Of the eleven (11) cubicles: approximately 3 bookshelves 7 filing cabinets shall be moved to the destination office

1. All cubicles shall be disposed of, with the electrical capped off. No electrical work is required at the receiving site for the cubicles. Eleven (11) cubicles: 1 built-in desk, 1 bookshelf, and 1 chair shall be disposed.

2. 2 printers shall be disposed

iii. One (1) conference room: wall hangings shall be moved to destination office

1. TV equipment shall be disposed.

2. 6 tables, and 2 small tables, white board, and 20 chairs shall be disposed

iv. One (1) break room: small appliances moved to destination office

1. Small items shall be disposed.

2. 1 refrigerator, 1 microwave, 1 table, 1 wall mounted cork board, and 1 bookshelf shall be disposed

v. One (1) Server room: 1 desk, 1 desk chair, and 1 built-in desk and shelves free-standing shelf shall be disposed.

vi. One (1) Lab room: 1 up-right metal cabinet shall be moved to destination office

1. 2 desks, 4 up-right metal cabinets, 6 refrigerator/freezers, 1 large cartography desk and boxes of small equipment shall be disposed.

vii. 1 garage: Small items and equipment shall be moved to destination location

1. 4 filing cabinets shall be disposed

2. 9 shelving units and small equipment shall be disposed.

viii. 1 File room: 1 upright metal cabinet and shall be moved to destination office

1. 2 upright metal cabinets, 15 file cabinets and 1 small table shall be disposed

ix. 1 Copier room: 1 upright metal cabinet and 1 copier shall be moved to destination office

1. 2 upright metal cabinets, 2 copiers, 1 built-in desk, mail slots, and small supplies and equipment shall be disposed

x. Hallways: 5 filing cabinets and 1 paper shredder shall be moved to destination location

1. 11 filing cabinets, whiteboard for disposal
