About this file

This is Amendment 0001 to solicitation 140FS225Q0052 for used motor oil removal at Alchesay and Williams Creek National Fish Hatcheries (NFH). The amendment provides answers to questions about the oil storage and removal requirements.

The amendment clarifies that Alchesay NFH has five 55-gallon drums and six 5-gallon buckets of used oil stored in a covered building, while Williams Creek NFH has four 55-gallon drums of used oil. The oil was generated from scheduled vehicle maintenance on equipment ranging from 3-ton trucks to lawn mowers and small engines. The contractor is required to pump out the oil but leave all containers (drums, buckets, and white polyurethane drum) on site. The oil is believed to be uncontaminated. Quotes and questions must be emailed to jeremy_riva@fws.gov by 5 PM Eastern on 2/26/2025. Any subcontractors must be disclosed with quote submission. The period of performance is 03/03/2025 to 05/01/2025.
