About this file

This is a Question and Answers document for federal solicitation 140FC226Q0039, addressing clarifications on a ventilation system project for the NY-Lower Great Lakes Fishery Resources Storage facility under the Department of the Interior Fish and Wildlife Service. The document clarifies that the government has not predetermined quantities, sizes, or placement locations for ridge vents, wall exhaust fans, and wall louvers, nor has an engineer been engaged to establish specific airflow requirements or air changes per minute/hour specifications. Contractors are directed to follow the Statement of Work requirements when developing proposals and should demonstrate with reasonable confidence that their proposed solutions will resolve the facility's moisture issues, though this is not a design-build engagement.
