About this file
This document contains a federal contract clause requiring the affirmative procurement of biobased products under service and construction contracts. The clause mandates that contractors make maximum use of biobased products designated by the USDA unless the products cannot be acquired competitively within the contract schedule or meet requirements at a reasonable price. Exempt categories include spacecraft and military equipment. Contractors must report annually to SAM.gov and the contracting officer on purchased biobased product types and dollar value, with reports due by October 31 each year and at the end of contract performance. The related federal contract opportunity is for parking lot repairs at the Big Stone National Wildlife Refuge in Minnesota, solicited by the Department of the Interior Fish and Wildlife Service.

(1) Report to http://www.sam.gov, with a copy to the Contracting Officer, on the product types and dollar value of any USDA-designated biobased products purchased by the Contractor during the previous Government fiscal year, between October 1 and September 30; and
(2) Submit this report no later than-
